Ziyad Grape Leaves 454g $5.29
One of the most quintessential Turkish mezze dishes is the oh-so-delicious stuffed grape leaves. The Turkish word dolma means “to be stuffed”, and consists of any vegetable stuffed with something, but the most popular is certainly the rice & herb stuffed grape leaves.
Other vegetables typically used in dolmas are tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant, and peppers, stuffed with a mixture of rice, meat, herbs, and spices. When dolmas contain meat, they are served warm. When there is no meat, they are served cold.
